A Precious Child Murdered in Oklahoma

Purcell - The search for a 10-year-old Purcell girl, missing for more than two days, has come to a tragic end on Good Friday.

An Amber Alert had gone on for nearly 24 hours before a body, thought to be that of Jamie Rose Bolin, was discovered in an apartment near her family's home late Friday afternoon. The medical examiner's office will make a positive identification.

Authorities in McClain County say Jamie disappeared Wednesday afternoon while riding her bike near Purcell Middle School. Witnesses say they saw her getting into a dark blue Chevy Tahoe at about 3:50 p.m. Wednesday afternoon near the Purcell Library.

Authorities confirm the arrest of a 26-year-old neighbor on a complaint of first-degree murder. The district attorney expects formal charges to be filed on Monday. Meanwhile, the suspect remains jailed without bond.

Police had spent the past 24 hours looking for a white male between 19 and 30 years of age driving that dark blue Chevrolet Tahoe with dark, tinted windows, large shiny wheels and a large "FOX" logo on the rear window.

Police earlier believed Jamie may have met the man online, but say that may now not be the case. Authorities say they are still looking into the conversations Jamie had online.
